What topics will you study in KS4 Maths?
The course consists of five components:
- Numbers
- Algebra
- Geometry and Measure
- Statistics and Probability
- Ratio and Proportion

How will you be assessed during the course?
At the end of KS4, there are three exam papers, each out of 80. There is one non-calculator exam and two calculator exam papers.
How can you help your child excel in this subject?
In addition to checking the DPR judgements and monitoring homework, the best way to improve at maths is by practising more maths. Maths Genie is a great free website where you can find exam style questions on different topics broken down into grades. It also has copies of each past paper with answers and video explanations.
